On the 1st October 1935 Marcus Huston started selling new Ford vehicles in Wondai They then progressed to Tractors and machinery.
Servicing the Wondai and Proston districts the business expanded to have a fuel depot and cream carrying run. After returning from overseas service during the second World War his two oldest sons joined the family business.
Allan then became Dealer Principal, the company then expanded and moved to take over the Ford Dealership in Murgon (1979).
During this time the company supported many local activities and Allan was instrumental in the establishment of the Ficks Crossing Recreational Camp.
The move to Kingaroy occurred in 1988 with Allan’s son Mark taking over the reins in 1990.The business moved to their current location in 1996 and at the same time acquired the Nissan and Suzuki franchises.
On the 1st October 2010 this third generation business celebrates it’s 75th anniversary as a Ford Dealer. A milestone the company is extremely proud of.
